20 years!

It was our 20th anniversary of being together yesterday.  We celebrated by taking some friends to see La Soirée, and if you ever get a chance to see them, do eeeeet!   It's a mix of circus, vaudeville, and burlesque, and it is funny and jaw dropping, sometimes at the same time!

You weren't allowed to take pics or videos during the show, which was fine by me, so these are from their own site.

We all had a lovely time laughing, cheering and gasping!

The whole crew in our very own booth.

Nikki, Jules, Gav, me, Andrew and Michelle.

Andyroo and Gav comfortably wait for us to get out of the inevitable queue for the lady's loo.

Two beautiful ladies, mother and daughter, and their beaus!

Jen and Craig.

Tina and Andrew.

Here's to another 20 years!  Many thanks to our friends for coming along and making our night so much fun, and thanks for the great photos!

  2. Great pics of you two! 20 years? Were you celebrating your anniversary? If so, congratulations and wish for you many more with your handsome guy! That evening out looked like so much fun!

Loved those horsey beach photos from another post too - beautiful!!

And yes, my heart did a little flip-flop when I'd realized I'd typed my beautiful Annie's name...she's been on my mind so often lately. I miss her so much. But she lives on forever in my heart - just wish I could hold her again. I remember what you said about your hands aching to touch them again. I know just what you mean.

    1. Hi Lorie. It is our anniversary of being together, but also our anniversary of our handfasting a few years later too. We are economical like that. :D

Yes it's true what they say that each dog that leaves us takes a piece of our heart that can't be filled by another dog, but I also think it is true that some are truly our heart dogs and they take a bit more of us when they go.
