I grew up catching them and removing ticks and giving them a good feed of strawberries or watermelon before releasing them back into the bush. They get tame very quickly, and like a nice rub around the eyes and ears. They do have a very strong bite, though, toothless but like a mousetrap, so we learned quickly to pick up the wild ones with care!

Most of our wildlife is pretty nocturnal so we don't see much of them. We do have Bandicoots, or Quendas here, they live under our railway carriage and make the dogs crazy by rustling around in the bushes at dawn and dusk. They're harmless and cute. :) T.L. We have ...Very interesting...and so foreign to me. We have none of those animals here. Not even one. The blue-tongued fellow would send me screaming and running for the hills, I'm afraid. :) I'm not very fond of reptiles. They scare the crap out of me, so I'd have no trouble saying good-ay and walking (running) away. I do love animals though, any and all, so I'd grow accustomed to your wildlife and learn to love them too. Just maybe not the snakes...thank you for learning how to help them!!! You have a kind heart, and I love you for that.C-ingspotshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17744931697050670013noreply@blogger.com
